Catherine and Nick married last year at a beautiful grade 1 country house called Wentworth Castle near Barnsley.
Initially Catherine came to me with no idea of the types of flowers she wanted but she knew exactly what colour she was after and her chosen style… Which was vintage.
Her dress was a Charlotte Balbier creation called ‘Love Heart’ with beautiful lace and pearl details.
The bridesmaids’ dresses were from TwoBirds Bridesmaids and were navy blue in colour.
I suggested that Catherine opt for Spring flowers, as it was in February. We chose dark purple Anemones, blue Hyacinths, white Avalanche Roses, double spray Veronica, mixed in with thistles, variegated grass and pearls. The bridesmaids’ posies were mainly composed of Avalanche roses with just a touch of thistle and double Veronica.
